Mend This Void

Seems like I've lost a lot during my life,
Wouldn't it be easier to cut it all out with a knife
If i could see one thing for enernity,
I want to see her eyes they make me happy.
I don't think that they could ever see.

don't need the sun or the moon,
or a balanced meal at noon.
don't need to breath this air,
and even the stars don't campare to her eyes.

If I was a dying man,
I'd want her beside my death bed.
With all my stregnth I'd hold her hand,
and in my last vision, I'd just want to see her smile.

I'm sorry for the pain I've caused,
before I met you I was lost.
I wish that I could mend this void.
The only thing we had, in a word called love.
