An overactive mind
Aggression aimed my way
Self inflicted madness
I push myself away

He's firing so many questions
All heading down my lane
Searching for life's answers
He drives himself insane

Jealousy - Consumed by hate
Cannot see - It's too late

Now feeling the need
To escape from all his pain
Becoming more assertive
Growing day by day

An educated mind
Gone too far astray
Now I know what happens
When addiction is in play
