Horrified Awakening

Dim light smouldering through the void
That should seem to be daffed aside
As it just hit my consciousness
I was alive

Stench is absent
Not there and beyond
Confusion inside the murk
And chill now fused my skin
A vicious dream fission, another rush?

Whereas I am clear of standing on the other side
The right side
Reality's well-known taste
Reminder of torturous times

To breathe
To deceive
Horrified awakening

Beaten back to life - Horrified
Wounds revitalized - Horrified
No life-enduring-flee - Horrified
Nothing but blackness scattering me
