I'm standing at this moment about fifteen feet from where
It actually landed
I have an intelligent looking man an eye-witness here
Who saw the whole thing
Sir would you tell us what you saw)

Well I saw the thing comin' out of the sky
It had the one long horn and one big eye
I commenced to shakin' and I said ooh-eee
It looked like a purple people eater to me

It was a one-eyed one-horned flyin' purple people eater

Sure looks stange to me

(Then what happened)

Well he came down to earth and lit in a tree
And I said Mr Purple People Eater don't eat me
I heard him say in a voice so gruff
(I wouldn't eat you cuz you're so tough)

(Sir would you explain how you made that amazing little sound)

He said it's eatin' purple people and it sure is fine

Then he swung from the tree and he lit on the ground

(What happened to him did he fly away)
