Why Don't We Sleep On It

Why don't we sleep on it till the morning come
We'll see it all in a different eye in the morning sun
We know we've come so far together to give up don't seem right
And like someone said we made our bed let's sleep on it tonight

I've seen a lot of people that never even really tried
And you know I've seen 'em let a lot of good love fade away
And I no more ever lose you all because of foolish cry
And I didn't mean a single thing I had to say yesterday
