On The Decline

I'm scared routine will drag me down
I see the same old faces when i drive through town
Like restless ghosts they beckon me
To blend into the scenery

Wasting my time on the decline

Somehow the years keep dragging by
And i can't help but wonder why
This town feels like a hangman's knoose
