Along a solitary road
Trees bow to the ground
Adorned in shadow
Silence speaks so cold
Whispers fly on dusky wings
Dark is falling
Summer rust in the sky
Movement in secrecy
Ascending cruelty
Lake with the full moon rises
Emerald to ebon, a subtle copulation

And the day ends
Gold’s shimmering
As it’s fading into shade
She’s been waiting
Willowy silhouette from the underworld appears

Coveting immortal souls
Eyes burn with disdain
Feral and hollow
Stranger with ill intentions
Archaic mind of mysteries and necromancy
Ivory mare chases the stars
Chilling iniquity possessing purely
Lady with the full moon rides
Mission to ruin
Arrant domination

When the day comes
Black is shimmering
As it’s turning to morning green
Lady mare returns
To join those who have been waiting far beneath
