I've been taking lessons from the stars
On how to catch your eye
Step one: burn up real bright
Step two: catch them when they're off guard
And fall down from the sky
And turn their dark eyes light

And take notice where you're headed
When you're crashing towards the ground
And take a left by the big tree and land face first by her house
And then sing it out loud

Each night after dark
And come morning stretch your arms
