I am
Thinking of one moment in time
When I felt myself as a part
Of something more than a lie
The tomorrow's goldbrick
The vertigo of man
How to live tomorrow
When you're already dead today?

My hope is fading in the sunset of man
Another field trial is coming to the end
My wings were broken and crippled since then
When I and my fellows fell down from the sky
And died

We are dead angels, lost and forgotten
Without holy guidance
Or hope for salvation
Already dead but forced into life
Blessed by nothing but infinite strife

The day will come to return to heaven
To conquer divine ground
When the pentagram blazes up in the sky
We will remember how to fly
