Twenty Minutes

Well you're just twenty minutes away. Can I come down and see you today? Well you said "no, you can't." I said, "well, why not?" I just can't get straight answers out of you.
And on vacation you said, "this semester, things are gonna change."
Bur you were wrong. You're the same. The same as you were back in nineteen-ninety eight. I said I'd come any time or day, but if not I'll just sit at home and drink my tears away.
Well you're just twenty minutes away. What is it that keeps you away? And why can't you see? I waste energy. My efforts seem so pointless. Stupid me.
