Looking back
Takes a heart and a head
Picking feathers off of the side of your cap
Feels a lot like looking back

Makes you feel so much like someone you are not
Someone you just found out isn’t coming back

Memories are a glimpse of what has been
They’re a glittery
Embellishment of scenes
