Above This World

Can someone tell me the reason I find myself here?
Is there a message in all of this sorrow and fear?
I didn't ask to be born here - as far as I know
So if there is hope beyond here, how will I know?

Take me above this world
never to touch this life again
Take me above this world
don't make me stay here anymore

Why have the Brothers and Sisters of Light fallen down?
How will we climb back up to Eden if we are so proud?
Can we get past all this sorrow and leave it behind?
Let there be light in the darkness that we will find
