I can feel it coming on and I refuse to shut down. To not feel anything at all. To not feel is already to be dead. This is my chance, to let it all go. To throw it all away and BURN IT TO THE GROUND! *When faced with any kind of personal tragedy too often we don't know how to deal with it. Sometime we shut down to not feel anything. Sometimes we become so afraid that the same thing will happen again that we become too scared to even start over. But either way we start to deny the one thing we all have; our feelings. The moment we cheat ourselves is when we try to deny our feelings. This song is about seeing that and not being afraid to feel. Ultimately we can see the hope hidden in all of the tragedy.*
