Old Men By The Shore

Come sit with me
Right on the edge
As I tell you of those
Old men by the shore

And now with those thoughts
Sailing into the mist
Over the horizon
Far from these watchful eyes

Their beating hearts
Like crushing waves
Crashing on the surface of the sea
Slumbered, lifeless

Drifting
The faint sullen sound
Their heartbeats silenced
And then death pulls like a current
