It’s friday night and we’re all dressed up
Cruising to town in my shiny pickup
Got my hair combed back, every girls dream
My bag is packed with loads of beer
It’s the end of the week so I don’t care

There comes johnny with a guitar in his hand
Joe comes after with a fiddler band
We all sit down by the fireplace
There comes the girls and we’ll have some fun

When the band begins to play, we start to dance
