Will you feel much better?
A whole lot of reasons I can’t understand
You bring these fancy letters portraying many ideas you don’t comprehend
No matter how things may be or turn out to be
It seems that you’re too afraid to open your eyes and see
Abiding by your rules I know I might be safe but you won’t let me go

You say we should obey
Thinking that will save us from going astray

You’re still so convinced of your own narrative you cannot even see
It’s just a bunch of pre-made self fulfilling prophecies
And when I say I dare it’s insincerity and when I feel I care it’s just hypocrisy
Unwilling to accept that there’s no truth
It’s so ironic how that works out for you
