The Other Side

Did you receive me, back into your mind?
If I could touch you to be here one more time...
I slipped into your bones, I wish that you could know.
I guess we've had our time.

If you were here, then you could see me smile.
On a different side now, thought I would never know.
A bitter change and the world is turning slow.
I didn't want to die.

I hear you ask me why, there's nothing I could change, you'll be here to touch my face someday.
I'll be leaving, (some things I'm paying for) should be soon now, I cant stay anymore.
I've reached the other side, if I could say goodbye just to say your name so you could rest and know that I am here
