The path to follow
No one knows
Pulled in the direction
Of the rope you tow
Scar the neck, burn the skin
Burning deep, blacken the heart within

So many little things affect the way
To many speed bumps
in our pathway
Choose your way, at the y
Build your own road, as long
as you try

Close of eyes, ignore the switch
Can't be hurt, pull on stitch
Others hands pull you to their gods
On the lobes, the teeth still gnaw
The apple can taste so sweet
Poison injected, fall at their feet
Bend the rules, the machine's law
