The Seer

I am the Seer
I'm looking up from my desk
and lay my nib behind
I saw time passing by
but I didn't realize

Now trees lost their leaves
Night comes I can't succeed
White candles light my way
Reading till the morning day
All do believe 'cause I'm the seer
My face is carved like stone


I only know
It's a lie
I'm destroying wishes
I'm destroying hopes
Hating my hypocrisy
Hating my mendacity
To be a servant
To be a slave
Knowing it awaits me
my future grave


Sometimes I remember
History repeats once more
A time honest and respectful at all
