Scorched

Thrown up on the shores of hell
Digested by the bowls of life

The sum of all my sins
An eternal blackened strife

Scorched by the flame of the unholy
Hardened by the reality of death

A moment of clarity was gained
When drew my last breath

No enlightenment in life
