Sparks

wanted to be the fireman but ended up as the arsonist
never one for heroics always better at starting shit

sifting for sparks fanning the flames
burning our eyes but's it's worth the pain
and so we go with what we know

wanted to be an advocate of something positive and worth the spit
the dreams we magnify are focused in close enough to see we're burning them down
