Welcome to a world
Destined to fade away
Nothing but a spec
In a glimpse of time
Broken and denied
Shattered as we fall
Picking up the pieces
Of mistakes that have taken their toll

Piercing eyes grip our hearts
Foundations beneath our feet collapse
Shaking hands of fury high
As the harsh blue sky grins back
Bodies lie forgotten and deprived
Dreaming of that brighter day
We see the paths before us split
Which one will lead us to be saved

I can see the light
Falling faster from my eyes
Faces all around me in disguise
Pleading for another (day)
