Like before

Well the moon ain't full and I ain't drunk no more.
I cleared all of the clutter from my head.
And I know why I cuss and fight and do lots o' stupid things
but don't know what I left you for.

Is this the wake up call we needed?
When love got boring I ran, thought I could come back saying:
I think I know what can make us better.
Like before when we first met when my heart would jump out
just to see you in the morning.
