Hot spots of potential injury
They scent out the blood
Of the soul


Mephistophelean scavengers on their hunt

Penetrated are their minds by teaching aggressively imposed on them
Never subjected to reflection
Never transcending the narrow room of their doctrine
Strained to love thy neighbor they proselytize
Seemingly by chance
Yet systematically

Self-determination does it mean anything to them?
Reasons infancy sheltered in a false haven

This sobering profanity
Within times of profundity
Apparitions so trustworthy
Janus-faced
Abusing others confidence
While considering themselves
