Even Shares Of Gold

The time has come
A decision must be made
‘bout sharing joy and tears with somebody else

All the lessons learned
In their previous fates
Will surely grace their little chest of wishes
Down its way into the magic well

Aside from plans
There is also doubt inside
‘bout missing what they’ve conquered individually

On the other hand
There’s a brighter side
The whole is greater than the sum of parts
As long as they are caring mutually

He will make his vows
She's on common grounds
Their will is now an oath

To pursue the dream
That rainbow’s end will bring
Even shares of gold
