Torpid man hit the ground
The soil is starting to dissolve him
He paid the toll
Before the fall he thought he controls his destiny
But in the end this thinking led to catastrophe
He spends all his life pursuing success
Being on the top was his yearning desire
In the embrace of Earth and her gentle caress
Pointless fragile shell of his is lying expired
Uncloak your disguise
Just do what you feel
‘Cause you see, if you want to do somebody good
You first must be real
Look straight to the skies!
Live through what you’ll see!
‘Cause you know, if you want to make something real
You first must be free
Sometimes chance is slipping away
Sitting overawed we whine for price we have to pay
After vain attempt to seize the day
Madness takes control and
We have to face colossal fear
Fear that grabs you by the throat and give you answer
To a question you prefer to evade
As the body is rotten
Eaten bread is soon forgotten
But no evil can be shorter
Than a life
Torpid man hit the ground
The soil is starting to dissolve him
He paid the toll
Before the fall he thought he controls his destiny
But in the end this thinking led to catastrophe
He spends all his life pursuing success
Being on the top was his yearning desire
In the embrace of Earth and her gentle caress
Pointless fragile shell of his is lying expired
Uncloak your disguise
Just do what you feel
‘Cause you see, if you want to hide something deep
You first have to dig
Rush in to your self and
Dethrone what you fear
‘Cause you know
As the body is rotten
Eaten bread is soon forgotten
But no evil can be shorter
Than a life
