He woke up in a room with no door
No past to recall, no time like before
A single chair, a window high
Through it he saw a moving sky

Who placed me here, who drew the lines?
Is this a cage, or just my mind?

He knocked the walls, they had no sound
No echoes came, no solid ground
So he closed his eyes, let go of fear
And found the door was always near
