From mighty mountains high in the skies
Divine tears start to fall
Who dares now to rise
To save mankind at all?
Falling on knees to the ground
Before the temple's flame
They stand where angels walked around
That holy land remains
The heat of burning, blinding days
Dries every drop of spit
The damned are locked in heaven’s vault
Where silent spirits sit
Across the earth the hunt begins
Lord, deliver me!
By hands that crush and kill with sins
Not love, but tyranny
In death’s own journal, psalms are writ
The final songs of our decay
The thread of time is torn to bits
Dreams shattered, left to fade away
And God Himself is forced to reap
The lives He once had shaped to keep
The golden years have slipped away
Lean cows now roam the field
Hell has been claimed as mankind’s prey
By hands that would not yield
Great lions shall consume the souls
Of those who won’t repent
Cruelty’s now in full control
With brutal, dark intent
Reduced to dust, what now remains
Of mortal fools so proud?
Who raised their thrones above His name
Above the mighty shroud?
They stirred the wrath, divine and bold
That scorched this broken land
He’ll judge the men, the young, the old
With justice in His hand
In death’s own journal, psalms are writ
The final songs of our decay
The thread of time is torn to bits
Dreams shattered, left to fade away
And God Himself is forced to reap
The lives He once had shaped to keep
The golden years have slipped away
Lean cows now roam the field
Hell has been claimed as mankind’s prey
By hands that would not yield
Now end the wicked’s evil schemes
Who rule with cruel desire
Above God’s law, they chase their dreams
And spark their own empire
