At the speed of constant change
The world begins to lose its way
When the hourglass is turned
We’ll know it is the final day
Life follows its destined path
Fulfilling all the prophecy
Written down in sacred texts
That mark the end of history
A prophetic warning cries
Words once spoken by the Lord
Signs of the end, one by one
Each fulfilled, no longer ignored
Many men will rise and preach
Claiming they are holy saints
But their tongues will twist the truth
Using Jesus in their taints
But the shadow haunts their face
Hiding deep behind the skin
A false sense of calm and peace
That the world will feel within
Wars and bombs are set to fall
Bathing us in blood and pain
Sealed graves and shattered hopes
As suffering begins again
Hunger crushes humankind
Fear and rot take hold
Societies will break apart
Pillar by pillar, cold
The earth will quake and moan
The water turns to death
The air will choke our lungs
Love breathes its final breath
Hatred takes the throne
The world begins to crack
Happiness has lost its place
And kissers now attack
Plagues will sweep the land
Drawing the last thin line
Between the life that stays
And those who’ve crossed in time
The birth of pain begins
The great pursuit is near
The sun will lose its fire
The Moon will disappear
Stars will fall to sacred ground
Where mourning cloaks the day
Upon the world’s bent shoulders
Even mountains weep and pray
The earth will quake and moan
The water turns to death
The air will choke our lungs
Love breathes its final breath
Hatred takes the throne
The world begins to crack
Happiness has lost its place
And kissers now attack
