Locked away for more than six hundred years
Imprisoned in the pages of history’s tears
Princes of darkness, rites were sealed
Chained in fire and iron, concealed

They guard the ancient written creed
From darker times of thought and deed
When minds were safe from wild decay
Held on the edge of yesterday

Monuments now cracked and torn
Temples buried, lost, and worn
Fools march blindly to their fate
They’ve forgotten love and grace too late

It’s like a nightmare with no end
The Sun burns hotter than it ever did
Machines are set to dominate
And human minds are easy bait

Impure desires, freedom’s fake
The world groans under wrath and hate
Visions blur, mouths close tight
No more words, no more light

No more truths left to see
Only endless, blackened sea
Where blood flows more than ocean tides
As hope and prayer slowly subside

The final end is drawing near
Explosions echo, prayers disappear
Each day, faith fades away
Struck down by Satan’s grand display

Demons hide behind the glass
To torture souls as shadows pass
The day will bleed, the sky will dim
Life retreats, the light grows thin

Hate outshines the love once known
Suffering now just seeds that’s sown
Lies have conquered every breath
This generation feasts on death

We are slaves within the scheme
